About: Gun Shot
Imagine you're a hunter and you are out tracking deer. You hear the sound of a gunshot and know that your hunting partner is not far behind you. You look over your shoulder, and see your friend lowered his rifle and aims it at the ground. You look again and realize that he has already been fired. A hunter is a level with his gun, aiming at the ground. As soon as he fires, another hunter appears from behind him and shoots him in the back. How do you act? This is what hunters think when they hear the sound of gunfire, especially if it's their hunting partner firing from close range. It's instinctive to turn around and run for cover as fast as possible but what if there was an easier way out? When a game hunter hears the sound of gunfire, he does not have time to consider what should be done next. Instead, our brains process the sounds of gunshots through three main filters: sight (where we are looking), and sound (the actual noise).
